Description

Do you see what is coming, create order from competing priorities, and keep senior leaders prepared to act? POA is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant who combines polished C-suite support with Board governance coordination, operational follow-through, and exceptional judgment.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on executive partnership role at the center of a growing, physician-led healthcare organization. The Executive Assistant will manage the daily rhythm of the CEO's office, coordinate Partnership and Board governance activities, prepare leaders for important conversations, and keep decisions and commitments moving from discussion to completion. The right person is composed, service-minded, highly organized, and comfortable working with executives, physicians, employees, and external partners.

Requirements

What You Will Do

  • Own the CEO's executive workflow, including a complex calendar, meeting priorities, communications, travel, expenses, and confidential administrative matters.
  • Coordinate the full cycle of Partnership, Board, and leadership committee meetings, including agendas, briefing materials, logistics, minutes, official records, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare executive-ready correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials while serving as a professional liaison among the CEO, physician partners, Senior Leadership Team, employees, and external stakeholders.
  • Keep organizational priorities moving by tracking decisions, deadlines, and cross-functional projects; coordinating leadership events and visits; improving administrative workflows; and elevating delays or emerging risks to the CEO.

What You Bring

  • Seven or more years of progressive experience in executive support, senior administration, operations, or program coordination, including direct support to a C-suite or senior executive.
  • Hands-on experience supporting a Board, governing body, physician partnership, trustees, or executive committee through agendas, materials, minutes, records, and action tracking.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and deadlines, preparing polished executive communications, building relationships across levels, and handling confidential information with sound judgment. Experience in healthcare or another complex regulated environment is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint. Experience with Board portals, project-tracking tools, or CRM platforms is a plus. A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is preferred.
