Your Impact at Ascend Analytics  

You will provide administrative and operational support to Ascend Analytics Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and the technology team.  This role will focus on the department level administrative functions and diverse tasks requiring knowledge of office systems and operational support best practices. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and provide solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism. You will plan and prioritize a diverse workload and offer suggestions to enhance procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency within the department. 


Job Responsibilities  

  • Provide executive support to the CTO and the technology department as well as other executives on occasion  
  • Complete a wide variety of administrative tasks for the CTO including but not limited to: managing a busy calendar of appointments, composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential, arranging travel plans, itineraries and agendas 
  • Complete projects and assignments in a timely fashion by setting objectives, defining priorities, managing time, collaborating with others, problem solving, and being flexible 
  • Prepare and submit expense reports for CTO 
  • Prepare, format, and edit a range of documents (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including reviewing, managing, and finalizing documents 
  • Event planning for company and department  
  • Other duties as assigned  

  

Required Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or other relevant field of study preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in the role of Executive Admin, Corporate Admin, Department Admin, or similar position  
  • Excellent and efficient computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality 
  • Eager to wear many hats and adopt new skills  
  • Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and time management excellence 
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with a high standard of professionalism in all dealings with internal and external stakeholders  
  • Passion for renewable energy and supporting the energy transition  
  • Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize tasks  
  • Ability to work on site five days a week
  • Prior experience managing proposals, contracts, or other complex documents
  • Experience supporting technology function strongly preferred 

 

Compensation & Benefits: $65,000 – $85,000      

Total compensation based on qualifications and experience. Ascend highly values our employees and often pays above industry average.
