What You’ll Do:

* Provide individualized, specially designed instruction aligned to student IEPs

* Collaborate with general education teachers to deliver effective inclusive practices

* Adapt lessons and curriculum to help students succeed academically and socially

* Assess progress, document growth, and keep IEPs and reports up-to-date

* Support and guide paraprofessionals/instructional assistants as needed

* Build strong partnerships with families, colleagues, and administrators

What We’re Looking For:

*Retired teachers excited to return to the classroom part-time or full-time

* Certified SPED teachers looking for local or travel placements

* Dedicated educators committed to inclusive practices and student success

* Professionals who thrive in collaborative, student-centered environments

* Must reside in the U.S.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Education (or related field)

* Valid Special Education teaching license (Virginia or eligibility for reciprocity)

* Experience in K–12 Special Education (inclusion and/or self-contained settings)

* Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
