We are looking for an Events Specialist who makes avertra unforgettable at every event we touch. You will take full, end-to-end ownership of event planning, logistics, and flawless on-site execution, transitioning this responsibility from our current point of contact through 2026.

In our industries, relationships and reputation are made in person, and a single dropped detail is a lost impression. From choosing the right events and preparing every detail, to running a seamless experience on the day, to following up so the momentum turns into pipeline, you make sure every avertra moment reflects our brand and delivers real value.

This is a role for someone highly organized and detail-obsessed, who stays calm when a live event is in motion, and who brings genuine energy as a face of the brand.

Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Selection
  • Plan and coordinate conferences, webinars, and activations aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Help select the right events and lead the preparation that sets each one up to succeed.
Logistics & On-Site Execution
  • Own end-to-end logistics: venues, vendors, booths, travel, materials, budgets, and the run-of-show.
  • Deliver flawless on-site execution, managing the experience and solving problems in real time so nothing reaches the client as a hiccup.
Webinars & Sponsorships
  • Plan and run engaging webinars and virtual sessions end to end.
  • Evaluate and manage sponsorships and event partnerships, and hold them to a clear view of value.
Brand Representation & Follow-Up
  • Represent avertra and MiCustomer on-site, ensuring messaging, materials, and the experience are on-brand, and support MiCustomer User Group (MUG) events.
  • Own structured post-event follow-up and track event impact and return on investment.
Transition & Ownership
  • Take over event ownership from the current point of contact through 2026, learning the calendar, the vendors, and the relationships, and building toward running the events program independently.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Experience
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or brand activation.
  • Hands-on experience running on-site events and webinars end to end.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Exceptional organization and project management, with calm, detail-obsessed execution under deadline.
  • Strong communication and an engaging, professional presence as a face of the brand.
  • Confident vendor and budget management, and a sharp eye for brand consistency.
Preferences
  • Experience with B2B, technology, or enterprise events.
  • Familiarity with utilities, energy, or technology markets.
  • Strong bilingual communication (Arabic and English), and familiarity with webinar and event platforms.
Travel & Work Schedule
Travel 25 to 50% for on-site events. Sunday to Thursday (Jordan timezone), with flexibility to support event schedules and global collaboration.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
