Summary of Role

The Sunday Experience Coordinator oversees the end-to-end execution of the experience arc for every High Impact Sunday at Celebration Church. This role is not an event coordinator — it is an experience architect and project manager who ensures that every High Impact Sunday carries a clear, intentional arc from the moment guests arrive to the moment they leave. The Sunday Experience Coordinator works directly under the Experience Director to bring each High Impact Sunday to life with excellence, cohesion, and purpose.

Other events may be required outside of your regular schedule; you will be informed in advance of any of these requirements.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Sunday Experience Leadership

  • Design the streets-to-seats arc for each High Impact Sunday — atmosphere, environment, signage, lighting, music, and flow from arrival through departure.

Project Management

  • Build and manage a project timeline for each High Impact Sunday from ideation through post-event review.
  • Responsible for the systems & processes used for the project. (Click-Up, Brushfire, etc.)
  • Coordinate with ministry teams, location teams, production, worship, and communications throughout the planning process.
  • Track all logistical and experiential deliverables, flagging risks and resolving gaps in advance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for experience-related decisions on each assigned Sunday.
  • Lead post-event reviews, capturing learnings, attendee feedback, and improvements for future High Impact Sundays.

Collaboration & Alignment

  • Work closely with the Experience Director to ensure all High Impact Sundays align with the overall experience vision and arc standards of Celebration Church.
  • Provide support as needed across the Experience Team and to Ministries owning their events.
  • Partner with the Connections team to ensure the guest welcome experience integrates seamlessly with the Sunday arc.
  • Cultivate relationships with location coordinators to ensure every location is aligned and supported.
  • Coordinate with Communications to build pre-Sunday appeal and attendance momentum.
  • Work closely with location teams during ideation and conceptualization of each High Impact Sunday.

Financial & Administrative

  • Assist in development and management of budgets for each assigned High Impact Sunday.
  • Oversee expense reporting and resource allocation per event.
