The Role

Events & Community Specialist

Location: London

What is VEED.IO?

At VEED, our mission is to make video creation accessible to anyone. No hard-to-use equipment, painful learning curve, or keeping track of multiple subscriptions to take your ideas from record → share. With VEED, you can do this with a single tool.

In just a few years, we’ve gone from one user to millions. From no revenue to $30M+ ARR. From bootstrapped to backed by Sequoia, one of the biggest VC firms in the world. From a team of two to a team of 180+. And we’re seeking more talented, motivated and entrepreneurial individuals to join our growing team.

About the role

We’re looking for a creative, curious, and deeply organised Events & Community Specialist to join our VEED for Business team.

This is more than an executional role—it’s about helping build a movement. You’ll be the engine behind the events & experiences that bring our community of marketers, creators, and content teams together. From intimate roundtables to to webinars to partner activations, you’ll help shape the moments that make people say: “I love this brand.”
You’ll own the end-to-end logistics of our events and community programs—working cross-functionally, collaborating with industry partners and customers, and ensuring that every touchpoint feels personal, polished, and impactful.
This is a great fit if you love being the person who brings details to life, thrives on collaboration, and understands that real community is built not on likes—but on trust, experience, and human connection.

What you will do

    • Managing webinar platforms and technical setup.
    • Coordinating with speakers, panelists, and internal teams to ensure readiness and smooth execution.
    • Drafting and sending webinar communications, such as invitations, reminders, and follow-ups.
    • Monitoring webinar performance and reporting on key metrics, including registrations, attendance, and engagement.
  • Event Coordination: Support virtual and in-person events, such as industry conferences, or partner co-marketing events:
    • Handle event logistics, timelines, and budgets to ensure smooth execution.
    • Coordinate attendee registration, communications and sales enablement.
    • Collaborate with vendors, venues, or digital platforms to deliver high-quality events.
    • Troubleshoot technical or logistical issues as needed during live events.
    • Event follow up and ROI
  • Community Engagement: Assist in building and activating VEED’s community through engaging initiatives:
    • Plan and support community-specific events and campaigns.
    • Work with marketing to promote events and community programs across email, social media, and other channels.
    • Track community engagement and gather insights to inform future initiatives.

Speaker Engagement & Community Outreach

    • Research and identify relevant industry events, podcasts, and webinars where VEED team members or community advocates can participate as speakers.
    • Maintain a database of upcoming speaking opportunities, including deadlines, submission requirements, and key contacts.
    • Assist in the outreach process, drafting pitch emails and coordinating follow-ups with event organizers.
    • Work with internal teams to match the right speakers with the best-fit opportunities based on expertise and event audience.
    • Support speaker preparation by gathering event details, coordinating presentation materials, and ensuring logistics are in place.
    • Track and report on secured speaking engagements, measuring their impact on brand awareness and community engagement.
  • Operational Support:
    • Maintain project plans, calendars, and tracking tools to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Work closely with marketing and other teams to align on messaging and goals.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline webinar and event processes.

About you

  • Experience: 1–2 years in webinars, event coordination, or community engagement, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with webinar platforms. Experience with tools like Braze, HubSpot and Notion is a plus.
  • Highly Organized: Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating and sharing event materials.
  • Problem-Solver: Able to troubleshoot and stay calm under pressure during live activations.
  • Flexible & Collaborative: Comfortable working in a remote, global team environment with different time zones.

We think what matters is people. After all, a company is just a group of people. We don’t care about where you’re from, what school you went to or where you worked before. If you’ve done exceptional work, we want to hear from you. Join us on our mission to make creative storytelling with video simple and accessible for everyone.
