Events and Hospitality Lead
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus based on meeting hospitality income targets
We are seeking an Events and Hospitality Lead to drive income and visibility for the National STEM Learning Centre in York.Reporting to the Head of Administration and Communications, you will oversee event planning, coordination and delivery, ensuring exceptional service for both internal and external customers.You will be part of a supportive team in a role that offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact on STEM education.If you are passionate about events and hospitality and want to contribute to the success of STEM Learning Limited, we want to hear from you.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support maintaining and developing income generation for the National STEM Learning Centre
- Oversee and manage the planning, coordination, and completion of corporate and customer facing events
- Assist in promoting the NSLC through various channels to increase engagement and centre visibility
- Provide administrative support and contribute to financial KPIs
- Oversee reception and catering operations for events

- 3 ‘A’ Levels or equivalent level of education or business experience
- Proven administrative experience in a business or educational environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
- Experience in event administration, project support, or similar roles
- Excellent organisational and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
