Events and Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual communications professional to manage Chinese social media, and support event logistics across Shanghai and Hong Kong. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, and is passionate about engaging Chinese-speaking audiences with thoughtful, well-designed content.

Your future role within QRT

Event Logistics

• Coordinate logistics for company events in Shanghai and Hong Kong, including vendor liaison, scheduling, and on-site support
• Be proactive and willing to get involved in all aspects of event delivery

Communication and Design

• Strong design skills with an eye for detail in formatting and presentation. Ability to make content look polished and engaging using basic graphic design tools, ensuring consistency and professionalism
• Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and visual identity
• Support the management of the company’s social media presence, including content planning, copywriting, visual design, and publishing across relevant platforms
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Chinese market and WeChat demographics to produce engaging posts in Chinese
• Monitor audience engagement and contribute to refining content strategies in line with platform trends and user preferences

Your present skillset

• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent writing skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English
• Tech-savvy, proactive learner comfortable with MS Office and common digital tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, scheduling platforms, CRM systems)
• Hands-on, adaptable, and able to take ownership from concept to delivery
• Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Internationally minded, with the ability to communicate diplomatically and with cultural sensitivity across diverse audiences
• Able to collaborate effectively across time zones
• Demonstrates a friendly and confident approach, fostering strong working relationships across teams and with external partners
