As an Event Promotions Assistant, you will be the face of our nonprofit partners at live events, educating the public about how their contributions are making a difference in the community. Key Responsibilities:As an Event Promotions Assistant, your main duties will include:
Public Engagement: Interact with the public at local community events, educating participants on the impact of their donations to nonprofit organizations.
Promotional Strategy Implementation: Assist in the execution of event marketing and promotional campaigns to raise awareness for charitable causes and increase donor engagement.
Donation Processing: Handle transactions efficiently, ensuring a seamless donation process and delivering exceptional customer service.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and community partners to enhance event coordination and maximize overall event impact.
Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with event participants, donors, and community members to encourage long-term support for nonprofit initiatives.
Adaptability: Quickly adapt to different event environments and ensure effective communication, ensuring smooth event operations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
0-2 years of experience in event staffing, sales, or customer service (nonprofit experience a plus).
A strong desire to learn new skills in marketing, community outreach, and nonprofit fundraising.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people and represent nonprofit causes effectively.
A motivated and goal-oriented mindset, driven to make a positive impact in the community.
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and educate the public.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
High School Diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
