Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Event Marketing and Promotions Assistant to join our team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals interested in marketing, event coordination, and brand promotions. No prior experience is required—full paid training is provided.
Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of promotional events
Represent client brands at events and engage with customers in a professional, upbeat manner
Support promotional activities, product demonstrations, and brand messaging
Help manage event materials, displays, and marketing collateral
Interact with attendees to answer questions and provide brand information
Work with the team to meet campaign goals and event performance metrics
Contribute ideas to improve event strategy and promotional effectiveness
Assist with tracking customer engagement and submitting event reports
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for events and marketing
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Reliable, energetic, and eager to learn
Flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
Previous event, retail, or customer-facing experience is a plus—but not required

What We Do
Invictus MSI is a team-oriented Marketing and Advertising firm focused on empowering change and social justice campaigns to help local Bay Area communities. Our 501(C)3 nonprofit clients have long histories of bringing creative, evidence-based solutions to major societal problems that require our collective, immediate response. Recently, their focus is attacking the opioid and gun violence epidemic in schools, but they currently offer more than 20 programs to promote safer, happier communities for children to grow up in.
