Job Mission
The mission of EUV Source System Engineering is to provide technical leadership to a large and complex development effort. You must help the business manage complex interactions and enable our organization make good decisions for the business and for our customers.
Role and responsibilities

Ensure System Engineering deliverables are timely met with high quality.

Come to agreement with stakeholders on the required product performance and define the relevant product specifications for all business drivers to achieve that performance.

Define the global system concept and architecture and define decomposition in various sub systems and their interfacing specifications.

Set budgets per business driver balancing consistency and overall design integrity.

Support system integration to validate that the system concept and architecture are met by providing integration logic, setting priorities, managing interdependencies and troubleshoot in case of issues.

Verify the System Performance Specifications are met after System Integration.

Verify if product is ready in terms of performance, manufacturability & serviceability and support any escalated structural technical issues that cannot be resolved by engineering colleagues in the field.

Actively contribute to technology studies & roadmap activities.

Coach and guide junior colleagues.

Actively manage and motivate a team to contribute to positive team dynamics.

Independently manage stakeholders on product team level.
Education and experience
-
Requires an academic degree in a technical domain.

PhD with 3+ years of experience.
-
Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
-
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
-
Demonstrated experience architecting complex, cross functional or cross competence systems or subsystems.

Has knowledge and experience in applying the System Engineering methodology, processes and ways of working.

Track record of technical leadership in design and engineering.
-
Ability to cross functional boundaries to build relationships with all areas in the company, to understand and reconcile higher level company and customer needs.

Has worked on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Experiences with customer and key stake holder management, an advanced understanding of customer relationship building internally or externally.

Demonstrated communication skills and a proven capability to convey technical matters, both written and orally, in a clear and precise manner.

The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $156,000-$260,000. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
