This role is for someone who loves variety and is passionate about growing a career as a world-class consultant. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of Microsoft endpoint management and security solutions and assist with the continued growth of our End-User Computing practice. Your main responsibilities include:

• Building relationships with partners and customers

• Working closely with our partners to deliver exceptional outcomes

• Owning customer success

• Identifying and developing opportunities for our partners and customers

• Delivering projects for our customers

• Technical ownership and delivery of end-to-end Microsoft projects

• Presales and technical architecture for a wide range of Microsoft services including Microsoft Intune (including Windows Autopilot and Configuration Manager), Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Conditional Access, Windows 11, iOS / iPadOS, macOS, and Android

• Demonstrating leadership in a project from start to finish: managing customer timelines, adoption, usage tracking, and building relationships

• Documentation including scopes of work, design documents, as-built documents, test plans, etc

• Assisting with keeping our well-defined and successful Insentra methodologies current and forward-thinking

• Keeping up to date in the extremely fast-paced world of IT

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

You are not one those “infrastructure server” people – you know that End User Computing is one of the most challenging and interesting fields in IT.

• A detailed understanding of what makes for a great end-user experience on Windows in enterprise environments

• 10+ years as a consultant and subject matter expert in End User Computing

• 10+ Microsoft device management and security

• Professional services experience and / or specific relevant experience related to IT project-based work or managing complex IT projects

• Expert level skills and knowledge in Microsoft offerings including:

o Microsoft Intune

o Windows Autopilot and Windows 10 / 11

o Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access

o Deployment and management of the Microsoft 365 Apps and Microsoft Edge

o Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

• Advanced knowledge and experience in Windows desktop and server operating systems including:

o Management and deployment methodologies

o Application packaging, deployment, and patching processes

o Windows features, updates and security components

• Advanced level skills in Microsoft cloud and on-premises solutions including:

o Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services

o Microsoft Configuration Manager

o Microsoft Azure IaaS

• Deep understanding of authentication mechanisms including Entra ID, and Modern Authentication

• Clearly Demonstrable experience with PowerShell to automate tasks and resolve issues

• Understanding of Intune reporting capabilities, limitations, and opportunities

• Knowledge and experience in the deployment and management of iOS / iPadOS, and Android devices with Intune, including integrating Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise or Samsung Knox

• Experience with successful migrations of Windows PCs, iOS / iPadOS, and Android devices from third-party management solutions to Microsoft Intune

• Presales experience and knowledge in writing Statements of Work (SOWs), work breakdown structures (WBS) and assisting with preparation of presales documentation

• Understanding and awareness of Service Management processes and tools

EXPERIENCE DESIRED (NICE TO HAVE)

• Expertise with Azure security services, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps, or Defender for Identity

• Experience with the administration of, or migration from, non-Microsoft device management, identity, and security tools

• Skills with the Microsoft Graph API for reporting and automation

• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and computing concepts,

• Automation skills with Infrastructure as code tools such as Azure Bicep, Hashicorp Packer / Terraform, PowerShell etc.

• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop and Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops

• Relevant Microsoft and / or third-party certifications

• Familiarity with Unix / Linux operating system management and security

• Expertise or familiarity with any of the following Patch My PC, Apple macOS, Okta single sign on solutions
