Job Purpose and Overview
As the IT Support Engineer in Amstelveen, you will support the IT functions within the organization, with a specific focus on end user PC support to the European business. You will be responsible for 1 st line support with more complex issues, maximizing the productivity of Dawn's IT systems provided to end users in the business. You are part of the EU IT Team, who is based in different locations throughout Europe.
What will you do as an IT Support Engineer at Dawn Foods?
Your main responsbilities and acitivities will be:

  • Provide technical assistance to Dawn team members as assigned by the EU Helpdesk function
  • Empower end users with knowledge to maximize the productivity from the IT tools provided to them
  • Provide scheduled onsite support and maintenance to other Dawn EU locations when required
  • Ensure support administration documentation is completed and accurate
  • Ensure site IT asset records maintained and current
  • Fully understand, promote and maintain the corporate culture and philosophy
  • Maintain and improve quality standards on an on-going basis
  • Collaborate with Dawn people at other locations for specific projects and adherence to corporate standards
  • Support in the implementation of key EU IT projects


What does it take to be an IT Support Engineer at Dawn Foods?
You have approximately 1+ years of experience in a PC/User support role, you are organized and create processes when formal procedures might not have been established yet.
Furthermore, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

  • Must be fluent in English (both verbal and written)
  • Must be fluent in Dutch (both verbal and written)
  • Available for 32-40 hours a week
  • Willingness to travel to other Dawn EU locations
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team orientated, collaborative environment.
  • V alid driver's license and passport
