Job Description
As an Account Developer, your primary objective will manage the tender process from qualification to submission, ensuring proposals meet client expectations and compliance standards. You’ll work closely with internal teams to develop strategic pitches, manage client and partner relationships.
The role includes:
- Support in all phases of the tender process, from qualification and preparation to final submission, including writing, reviewing, and formatting of proposals
- Track and manage deadlines for various bids, ensuring timely completion of all required documentation
- Conduct an initial quality review of response files, ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements
- Develop and execute effective pitch plans, collaborating with relevant teams to present tailored proposals that align with client needs and expectations
- Conduct research on industry trends and client needs to formulate appropriate responses
- Manage the relationship with our client’s procurement teams and partner organizations
- Liaise with legal and financial control teams to ensure the proper closing, and invoicing procedures
- Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system and prepare accurate sales reports for the management team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in communication, political science, marketing, or a related field
- Up to 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably on sales for EU institutions
- Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of French is an advantage
- Solid knowledge of bid management processes with a strong understanding of the EU Institutions and International Organisations sector
- Excellent client-facing skills with strong communication
- Strong organisational and time management, and administrative support skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
- Ability to identify areas for continuous improvement in your area of responsibility and carry out improvement actions
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines (stress resistant)
- Experience with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
