Launchpad is hiring a Report Writer / Data Analyst to help us turn data into actionable insights across key areas like Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to design dashboards and reports that drive smart decisions, combining technical skill with business acumen.

🌐 Work hours: Monday to Friday, 7.30 to 16.30 PST

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing- Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, SQL, and (optionally) Crystal Reports
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from SQL databases to meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Validate data and troubleshoot issues to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Present insights and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users, ensuring clarity and alignment
- Stay current with data visualization best practices and analytics trends
- 5+ years of experience in report writing and data analysis
- Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and database management
- Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling
- Familiarity with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with DAX, Python, or other scripting languages for advanced analytics
- Exposure to ETL processes and data integration workflows
- Business domain knowledge across Finance, HR, Sales, and Operations
- Certifications in Power BI, SQL, or related tech
