Team & Role
At Landy Tech ETLs are the core of the operations. We have many different banks sending daily data, our client team Analyse each different input and write well detailed specs that need to be implemented using Azure Data Factory. Our development process includes tests, peer reviews, pull requests and client team approval. All the releasing process is automated through pipelines. A normal day on the ETL routine starts with a meeting where we define the priorities. Each ticket contains a few files that need to be parsed, interpreted, applied rules from specs and then saved as a standard format. At the end of the process, the output is submitted to the owner of the spec for approval. As an ETL Developer, your mission will be to:
What We are looking for
- You will implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- You should define and follow established standards and guidelines.
- You will execute tests to ensure data quality and integrity.
- You will participate in code reviews.
- You will suggest improvements, share new technologies, and provide innovative solutions.
- You will be ready to welcome, support, and manage new recruits.
Skills & Expertise
- You have at least 5 years of ETL experience.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English.
- You have knowledge of Git.
- You are proficient in Spring (including Boot, Web, Security, and Data).
- You have strong SQL skills.
- You have experience with Docker
Preferred but not required
- Previous work experience with Azure Data Factory is an advantage.
- Knowledge of financial datasets or experience with complex datasets.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud.
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps Boards and ticketing systems.
