Allocore is growing! We are looking for an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Data Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that move and transform data from various sources into data storage solutions like data warehouses or data lakes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test data pipeline workflows to transform information between various systems
- Analyze database and API schema definitions to build integration between data sources
- Collaborate with business and product owners to define software requirements
- Resolve problems through analysis, configuration, coding, and coordinating with other team members
- Work with business teams to investigate and triage data-related inquiries
- Work both independently and as a team to deliver software solutions that are consistent across projects
- Proactively propose solutions for improvements in software products and team processes
- Have an impact on day one and continuously learn and develop new skills
Requirements / Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, business, accounting, finance, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in a DevOps culture that strives towards best practices of delivering high-quality software
- Cloud Development, including Docker and Kubernetes, preferred Bank lending experience, preferred IT experience.
- Software development experience in team collaboration via GitHub or similar source code management and peer review processes
- Ability to translate concepts into simple and flexible product features
- Understand data warehouse concepts and ETL workflow management fundamentals
- Refine and optimize implementation details as requirements change and data volumes increase
- Proficiency in interacting with data via SQL, API, and cloud-based data sources
- Experience programming with Java, Python, or similar programming languages
- Demonstrate experience with Pentaho PDI or similar ETL tooling
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Mechanicsburg, PA, with an expectation of working in the office at least three days per week. Candidates who are willing to relocate to the Mechanicsburg area will also be considered.
