Extended School Year Coordinator
LAMB is looking for an Extended School Year (ESY) Coordinator who is passionate about supporting students and staff in a bilingual environment. Our staff exhibits enthusiasm, a caring attitude, and a love of learning. Come join us!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, organize, and oversee daily operations of the ESY program
- Lead communication to teachers, families, service providers, and other stakeholders to provide needed information regarding Extended School Year services
- Maintain students’ electronic case files in the Special Education Data System (training will be provided)
- Assist with arrival/dismissal, lunch/recess coverage, and staffing coverage
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
- Commitment to LAMB’s Vision and Values
- Associate’s degree or completion of at least 60 college credit hours; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish
- Ability to work with teams of adults of different backgrounds and perspectives
- Willingness to learn and collaborate
- Experience with Google Suite (preferred)
- Experience with Special Education Data System (SEDS, EasyIEP) (preferred)
- Meet health requirements, including immunizations and completing a TB test screening
- Submit necessary documents for a completed personnel file, including references, diplomas, transcripts, and fingerprinting and clearance forms
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Special Education Manager
Schedule: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm (July 7-31 2026) and 4 hours (schedule TBD) prior to program start date
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $3,109 - $4,353.
