ESG Data & Reporting Analyst – Infrastructure Equity (50%)

Swiss Life Asset Managers is looking for a structured and hands-on ESG Data & Reporting Analyst to support the Infrastructure Equity team across Swiss-focused and international mandates. This is a 50% role with a strong focus on ESG data collection, quality assurance, reporting and the effective use of digital tools.

The role suits someone who enjoys working with data, systems and defined processes, while also understanding the broader ESG context. You do not need to be an ESG regulatory specialist or an IT expert: practical experience, sound judgement, attention to detail and confidence using Excel and digital platforms are more important.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ESG data collection across portfolio companies and follow up on submissions, timelines and open points
  • Review and validate ESG data, investigate inconsistencies and maintain clear documentation and audit trails
  • Maintain ESG datasets, KPI calculations and reporting files using Excel and dedicated data platforms
  • Prepare recurring fund and portfolio-level ESG reporting, including SFDR, AMAS self-regulation, client sustainability reports and investor requests
  • Support the administration and continuous improvement of ESG data platforms, templates and reporting workflows
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate data processes in collaboration with ESG, investment, asset management and relevant technical teams
  • Provide data and reporting support for ESG due diligence, portfolio monitoring, RfPs and fundraising questionnaires
  • Contribute to selected cross-portfolio ESG initiatives and internal materials where relevant

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, data management, finance, investment or a comparable analytical role
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with structured datasets, templates and digital platforms; experience with data visualisation or workflow automation is an advantage
  • A careful and methodical approach, with a strong eye for data quality, consistency and completeness
  • Ability to manage recurring processes independently, prioritise effectively and follow through on open items
  • Good written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to work with colleagues across different functions
  • General familiarity with ESG reporting or sustainable finance; general knowledge of SFDR, AMAS, and other relevant regulatory requirements, private markets or infrastructure is helpful but can be developed in the role
  • Relevant academic or professional training, or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluent in German and English
