We’re looking for a strong ERP Subject Matter Expert to join our nationally recognized, award-winning team of software professionals as an ERP Transformation Leader. 

Our ERP Transformation Leader acts as a product-agnostic advisor to clients, unearthing opportunities within their organization. Leveraging their software and manufacturing expertise, the ERP Transformation Leader will design a roadmap which leads to the client’s successful business transformation.

Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand and identify the client’s complex business requirements and operational objectives
  • Assist the sales team to drive new ERP software sales, enhancements, professional services and custom development by collaborating with cross-divisional team members to deliver thought-provoking, strategic solutions that thoroughly address the needs of our clients
  • Provide thoughtful guidance and support to prospective clients by developing trusted advisory partnerships with C-level executives and decision-makers
  • Act as a bridge between our Sales and Consulting Teams, sharing knowledge and providing mentorship to both
  • Maintain a close overall focus on client satisfaction, quality of service and profitability related to the solutions purchase process, ensuring prospective clients receive the world class experience Blytheco is known for
  • Partner with Sales and Consulting leadership to execute strategic goals
  • Ensure reporting and documentation are timely, accurate and complete
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve and exceed targeted professional services and license revenue goals
  • Produce professional documentation of current challenges, future requirements and benefits in a manner appropriate for clients
  • Collaborate with internal product specialists to guide the preparation of software demonstrations to ensure that client’s needs and priorities are properly addressed

Day in the Life of our ERP Transformation Leader:

  • Coordinate and attend in-person meetings with potential clients on a local, regional, and national level
  • Coordinate calls and meetings with prospective clients, internal team members, and third-party vendors, as needed
  • Conducting in-depth discovery meetings targeted at understanding, capturing and identifying the complex business requirements as well as operational objectives of the client:
    • Uncover current system pains and limitations; help the prospect quantify the impact and cost related to current system
    • Identify and capture top new solution requirements and priorities
    • Conceptualize optimized workflows and business processes possible with a new software solution, collaborating with product experts
    • Obtain proper supporting materials from client (flow charts, sample reports, etc.) to ensure understanding of needs
  • Produce professional, timely, and thorough discovery notes to facilitate accurate creation of Statements of Work (SOW’s)
  • Make travel arrangements, including booking flights and rental cars
  • Enter notes and documentation into our CRM daily
  • Attend 1:1, company, strategy and project meetings, as required

Requisite Knowledge, Experience and Attributes:

  • 5-10 years of midmarket ERP sales and/or consulting experience
  • Experience as an ERP business analyst or business owner with strong ERP skills is preferred
  • Highly skilled in the art of business development
  • Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Understanding of common mid-market business processes to conceptualize solutions to complex business issues of mid-market customers
  • Proven customer relationship management skills with the character and poise to influence customer decision-making, steering them to the most equitable solution
  • Proven aptitude for systematically and logically analyzing situations, resolving problems, identifying causes and anticipating implications
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity and experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; polished, professional presence and demeanor
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and listening skills required
  • Ability to function in a team-oriented, collaborative, matrix environment and forge strong relationships with managers, teammates, clients, and vendors
  • Great tenure, with a demonstrated history of advancement
  • Ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally, as required (up to 50%)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook and CRM tools
  • Flexible, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
