Summary

The NetSuite Administrator will be a part of supporting, documenting, and maintaining the ERP system and supporting applications. As part of the Corporate Information Technology team, this position will report to the ERP Services Manager and focus on ensuring data integrity and system functionality, working relatively independently. As a customer service-oriented individual, the NetSuite Administrator will leverage their experiences to solve problems, create and present training, and create reports to better utilize system data.

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment and configuration of enterprise software applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, etc.) to ensure proper setup and alignment with organizational requirements.
• Conduct regular maintenance activities, including applying patches, updates, and system optimizations to ensure the stability and security of the enterprise software.
• Draft, review, and execute testing to ensure functionality and data integrity for updates, changes, and new modules to enhance ERP functionality and integration.
• Review, design, implement and maintain security measures for enterprise software, including access controls, role definitions, user permissions, and encryption.
• Apply NetSuite best practices with a solid understanding of business, finance, and accounting practices.

Skills And Requirements

• 4+ years administration of NetSuite and associated financial systems.
• Demonstrated history of customizing forms, fields, workflows, and records to meet the organization's unique business requirements, while automating processes and procedures to ensure consistency and reduce manual efforts.
• Knowledge of database management in a NetSuite cloud configuration.
• Hands-on experience implementing or upgrading NetSuite; configuring and installing OEM/third-party applications and modules; and, developing testing to ensure functionality and data integrity during periodic patching.
• Maintained thorough documentation of system configurations, customizations, and processes along with security roles, access, and appropriate SOD (separation-of-duties).
• Excellent communication, incident/problem management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Understanding of expense management software and its ERP interfaces.
• Experience with report generation and integrating link for outside resources.

Desired Experience

• Understanding of subscription-based customer licensing and management.
• Strong financial accounting acumen and operational analysis skills.
• Background configuring and understanding the NetSuite CRM application.
• Ability to leverage SuiteScript/APIs based on business events such as field changes, forms submit, before-read, after-read, etc.
• Project Management methodologies, skills, and execution.
• Training NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
• OpenAir expense management and integration.
