Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Equipment Specialist to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Electronic Systems PEO (AFLCMC/ES) at Hanscom AFB, MA. The Electronic Systems System (ESS) Division aka Force Protection Division's mission responsibility is to manage and execute the modernization, design, development, testing, fielding, and sustainment of the various software and hardware within the ESS Portfolio.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
As a Senior Equipment Specialist your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:
Review and recommend changes to program‑unique specifications (system, development, and product) for hardware and software to ensure proper format, content accuracy, and compliance with program standards.
Maintain current drawing packages for all modifications, including shipping, transmitting, managing revisions, and assisting in the development of standard and system‑specific drawing packages.
Provide technical support and analysis for field, depot, and modification program issues.
Prepare or assist with Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) supporting configuration changes and inspections.
Support CCB and subordinate board activities by coordinating with Technical Content Managers to publish and distribute TO changes, prepare for meetings, and maintain change proposal documentation.
Perform configuration management tasks supporting engineering plans and OSS&E baselines, including managing DRs, AFTO 22s, AFTO 252s, and producing related monthly performance metrics.
Support configuration control by processing, tracking, and recommending dispositions for change notices, ECPs, deviation/waiver requests, service bulletins, deficiency reports, Airworthiness Directive Notes, and QCPs.
Attend and support FCAs, PCAs, and compliance audits, including CI audits, action item tracking, and minutes preparation.
Assist with TIMs and meeting minutes.
Support transition to digital technical order systems.
Monitor modification parts listings, identify items missing from the NSN database, and process non‑stock‑listed items into the DLA system.
Monitor and process contractor‑supported parts lists for provisioning and CM planning.
Access system data from multiple sources/tools to support OSS&E reporting.
Provide input to the Technical Order Life Cycle Management Plan.
Maintain Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) inventory lists, including conducting physical inventories.
Perform or assist with technical order validation and verification.
Provide technical maintenance and TO support to users via phone, email, local meetings, or occasional field support.
Assist TOMA with cataloging and tracking technical orders.
Develop methods, plans, and feedback processes to meet Technical Order management objectives.
Complete supporting documentation, including Forms 873, 874, 875, and coordination sheets.
Support the establishment, coordination, documentation, and justification of TO data requirements.
Provide integrated logistics support, including provisioning, source coding, maintenance data collection, configuration management data, QDR analysis, and identifying alternate sources of supply for DMS/MS issues.
Review and provide feedback on Combat & Mission Support Systems effectiveness, maintenance management practices, and required improvements.
Evaluate Air Force directives to ensure adherence to Government and Air Force standards and proper use of systems, facilities, and support personnel.
Support IPTs by researching materials related to maintenance and equipment management.
Conduct Logistics Supportability Analysis of Illustrated Parts Breakdowns to ensure SRU/LRU part availability.
Maintain system baselines to current configurations, including updating supplier information and CAGE codes.
Use Government software to identify errors, track equipment status and non‑mission‑capable time, and recommend readiness improvements.
Support integrated logistics efforts including provisioning, source coding, TO management, CM, AFTO 22/252 processing, quality deficiency evaluation, and alternate source identification.
Possess or develop experience with range systems, radar, or electronics systems at the system, subsystem, or commodity level across program phases
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in DoW
Experience with configuration management processes including CCB support, ECP evaluation, deviation/waiver review, deficiency report processing, and management of DRs/AFTO 22/252 actions.
Proficiency with Technical Order (TO) development and lifecycle support, including TCTOs, TO validation/verification, TO cataloging/tracking (TOMA), and digital TO systems.
Ability to maintain and manage system baselines, drawing packages, modification part lists, provisioning data, and NSN/DLA updates across hardware/software configurations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to collaborate with government, contractor, and industry stakeholders.
Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must have and maintain an active Secret clearance.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000
