Project Scope
We are seeking an Epic Integration Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of provider onboarding projects for a fast-growing healthcare technology organization. This role will own planning, configuration, testing, and go-live execution across Epic integrations, with a primary focus on scheduling workflows at provider organizations.
Position Summary
The Epic Integration Project Manager will serve as the primary project leader responsible for managing provider network onboarding from contracting through go-live and into operations and maintenance. This individual will coordinate across internal engineering, product, and customer-facing teams, manage scope, risks, and timelines, and ensure a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience for provider network participants. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of Epic implementation or integration experience with a focus on scheduling, strong executive communication skills, and a track record of delivering complex healthcare IT projects on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of provider onboarding projects including contracting, configuration, testing, go-live, and transition to operations and maintenance.
- Define clear project scope, requirements, and objectives in collaboration with customers and internal engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, action items, status reports, risk logs, and timelines across multiple concurrent engagements.
- Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, presenting solutions and options to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Lead project meetings with cross-functional teams including C-suite stakeholders to communicate status, discuss risks, and manage scope changes.
- Coordinate seamless transitions from sales handoffs through go-live and subsequent sustainment.
- Establish regular reporting and metrics to monitor progress and identify gaps against project goals.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of onboarding processes using lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure a premier end-to-end customer experience throughout the onboarding engagement.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working on Epic implementations or supporting Epic integrations with a focus on scheduling at a provider organization.
- 3+ years of experience in health system operations or enterprise project management.
- Proven experience managing large health system or enterprise project portfolios.
- Experience leading executive-level product demonstrations, program updates, and presentations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and operational audiences.
- Familiarity with healthcare software and data analytics tools.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical integration experience within the healthcare industry.
- Experience supporting provider network onboarding or Epic scheduling workflow implementations.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
