About the Position

We are now hiring an early-career Marketing Associate with light, but well-rounded experience in general marketing activities, including administrative operations, creative and digital marketing. What is most important to us is that our new team member can demonstrate a high level of tenacity with a great appreciation for accuracy and timeliness and has a desire to be part of a fast-moving, entrepreneurial team, where they will gain experience in a wide range of cross-departmental projects.  This person will benefit from the mentorship of the Senior Director of Marketing and the Creative Services Manager, both of whom are committed to helping them gain multi-faceted experience as part of a collaborative, small team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Director of Marketing and the Creative Services Manager with all aspects of executing Eosera’s marketing strategy.
  • Administrative support - Manage the marketing department’s administrative functions, including conducting research, preparing reports, managing schedules, organizing files and invoices, and being a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Event planning - Organize, plan, and help to execute promotional events.
  • Project management - Manage print production and other projects, including managing timelines, ensuring quality, and working with external service providers.
  • Social media support - Coordinate the social media calendar of activities and support execution of the social media strategy.
  • Participate in a wide range of marketing team activities as needed with a willingness to pitch in and do whatever needs to be done.

 Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of general, well-rounded marketing experience
  • Experience (in work or extracurricular) that demonstrates a high degree of organizational and time management skills and the ability to be analytical or use data to inform actions
  • Experience (in work or extracurricular) that demonstrates strong relationship development skills and interpersonal communication skills, adaptable to interacting with team members, leadership, and external stakeholders in a manner that earns credibility and trust
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Some experience with design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and/or Apple products and services is a plus
  • Experience with Asana, Google Drive, Dropbox, and/or Microsoft Teams is a plus
  • Some experience with content creation and social media is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a forward-thinking mindset; curiosity, compassion, and a relentless ability to see things through to completion
