Description:

The environmental writer will produce and/or review various articles and content on health and environmental topics for Launch That’s digital brands.

Writer Assignment Details:

  • Follow detailed content strategy briefs, research the topics using well-known and reputable sources, and write pages between 1,000 and 3,000 words.
  • Occasionally write content as a subject-matter expert for third-party websites.
  • Submit completed pages within 2-3 days after receiving the assignment.
  • Fact-check and proof all content to ensure it meets the content strategy, follows the brand’s style, casual yet medically accurate tone and voice, is free of inaccuracies and errors, and is formatted correctly before submitting it to the editors.
  • Follow established content guidelines.
  • Create content with high health and environmental experience, expertise, authority and trustworthiness.
  • Allow likeness and name to be used across the websites as a subject-matter expert/author.
  • Communicate with the Managing Editor and Content Editors and provide updates on production.

Bonus Qualifications 

  • Environmental background in asbestos abatement and/or remediation
