Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform Technical Design and lead technical engineering project designs, site investigations, and inspections with a focus on stormwater management, watershed planning, sanitary sewer collection, and green infrastructure.
- Develop technical reports for infrastructure improvement projects, including stormwater and sanitary sewer assessments.
- Conduct hydraulic analysis, drainage channel design, erosion and sediment control, and gravity sewer modeling to ensure project success.
- Design documentation including preparing design plans, specifications, permitting, and bid documents for construction projects related to stormwater, drainage, and water quality.
- Provide design and construction support services, including shop drawings, pay estimates, progress meetings, and on-site construction services.
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering degree or related field.
- Requires 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, Environmental Engineer or similar occupation performing related duties.
- Requires 5 years of experience in civil infrastructure engineering, including 2 years of experience with each of the following:
- Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) of site development, water, stormwater, and wastewater systems;
- Writing specifications and preparing documents for permitting and construction of wastewater systems; and
- Performing site visits during construction to review installed work.
