The Boeing Company is seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join the team in North Charleston, SC.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multi-disciplined EHS team at the Boeing South Carolina facility supporting the 787 Airplane Program. In this role, you will support the production environment by helping ensure the safety and health of employees across the Boeing South Carolina site and its associated sites and facilities.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage and integrate employee activities across multiple occupational health, safety, and environmental disciplines.
- Develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures, while providing input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
- Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.
- Plan, implement, and monitor occupational health and safety programs, processes, training, and risk management control technologies.
- Lead the development and execution of project and process plans; form and lead cross-functional teams; establish operational goals; and secure necessary resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports to align EHS priorities and drive results.
- Manage the performance, development, and engagement of direct reports while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment: To be considered for this position you will be required to complete an assessment as part of the selection process. Failure to complete the assessment will remove you from consideration.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
- 5+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
- 3+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Experience managing EHS teams at a multi-site level
- Experience in a large, complex manufacturing or aerospace environment

Summary Pay Range: $119,000 - $161,000
