Amentum is seeking a dedicated results-oriented software engineer to support NSWC Dahlgren H20.
Software Engineer Responsibilities Include:
Developing software for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Fire Control Systems
Developing graphical user interfaces for local tools with the team of users.
Developing software updates using C++, and implementing DevSecOps tools
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Math, Computer Science, and/or Physics with entry level experience.
Must have (or be able to obtain) an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret
Knowledge in definition and management of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation.
Plans, performs, and leads software design, coding, and testing.
Experience in an Agile software development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
Source code tracking tools (i.e Git, Bitbucket)
C++ (Ada also Preferred)
Ability to Commute to Dahlgren, VA
