🚀 About the Role:As a Marketing Assistant, you’ll support the planning and execution of live event marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and support social impact initiatives.
You’ll work hands-on at promotional events, engage with the public, and be part of a team that thrives on innovation, collaboration, and growth.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:Help organize and execute event-based marketing campaigns and brand activations
Assist with customer acquisition and retention strategies for partner brands
Represent clients at retail events, community pop-ups, and nonprofit campaigns
Set up and manage branded displays and event logistics
Deliver compelling brand messaging through direct, face-to-face outreach
Work with the team to analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements
Bring your creative ideas to help elevate outreach, engagement, and impact
You’re a great fit if you are:
Outgoing, energetic, and comfortable in public-facing roles
A strong communicator with great team collaboration skills
Eager to learn and take initiative—self-motivated and coachable
Able to manage time, multitask, and thrive in fast-paced environments
Open to flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends
18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Bonus: Experience in retail, customer service, sales, or promotions (not required)
Bonus: Degree or coursework in Marketing, Business, or Communications (preferred)

What We Do
Invictus MSI is a team-oriented Marketing and Advertising firm focused on empowering change and social justice campaigns to help local Bay Area communities. Our 501(C)3 nonprofit clients have long histories of bringing creative, evidence-based solutions to major societal problems that require our collective, immediate response. Recently, their focus is attacking the opioid and gun violence epidemic in schools, but they currently offer more than 20 programs to promote safer, happier communities for children to grow up in. Our team is responsible for both raising awareness to their potentially life-saving programs and providing the funds necessary to implement them. Now that our team has developed a reputation for representing our 501(C)3 clients with integrity and enthusiasm, our goal is to continue expanding our client’s reach. We understand that learning how to successfully run a business is no small task, and requires a solid foundation in both leadership and management.
