The Boeing Company is currently seeking Entry Level Estimators to join our growing team in Hazelwood, MO.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of estimating tasks including estimate and cost volume preparation, proposal development, and fact-finding and negotiation support for new business activities. These specialists will coordinate with different functions to evaluate customer requests for proposal and statements of work while maintaining communications with internal and external partners to ensure cost proposals are accurate, complete, and of the highest quality. This assignment supports a variety of programs and divisions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and preparation of basic estimates and prices
- Assists in the evaluation of requests for proposal, substantiates estimates, and assembles proposals
- Assists in performing analyses in support of pricing and estimating (i.e. risk, financial, competitive, etc)
- Assists in developing and maintaining pricing methods and models
- Coordinates and completes data entry tasks
- Applies rates and factors in estimates and pricing, consistent with internal guidance
- Performs activities in compliance with policies and procedures, including both internal controls as well as Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree in a field that encourages creative problem solving and diverse perspectives, such as marketing, economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, business, finance, accounting, contracts, estimating and pricing, business operations, procurement, financial analysis, or a related discipline. We value diverse academic and professional experiences that contribute to a well-rounded team.

Summary Pay Range: $61,200 - $82,800
