Amentum is looking for an Entry-Level Computer Engineer to support Anti-Tamper microelectronic assessments. Secondarily, this position will support technology development and Anti-Tamper implementation for multiple programs. The position will support NSWC Crane's Trusted Microelectronics Division and their various Navy and Air Force customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development of software for embedded microelectronics (ARM, RISC-V, others) in a team environment to aid in the assessment of microelectronics. Use of revision control software is required.
- Development of software (CPU) in a team environment to aid in the assessment of microelectronics. Use of revision control software is required.
- Develop test/debug software
- Statistical Analysis of data resulting from testing efforts
- Assist Electrical Engineer with the setup and operation of microelectronic devices
- Identification of new testing methodologies
- Assist with electrical/electronic technology assessment efforts
- Requires the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or graduate degree in Computer Engineering or related engineering field
- Knowledge and understanding of software programming including C/C++, Python, Perl, and MATLAB
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active US Government Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain an Active Secret Clearance.
- Knowledge and understanding of Statistical Data Analysis (statistics)
- Knowledge of basic laboratory equipment including Oscilloscopes, Amplifiers, Filters,
- Knowledge and lab experience with microelectronics (microcontrollers, FPGAs)
- Ability to support technical design reviews
- Knowledge and understanding of parallel programming issues (race conditions, livelocks/deadlocks, shared memory, memory ordering, etc.) and experience with pthreads and/or MPI libraries is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of LabVIEW and VHDL/Verilog
- Active Secret Clearance
