We’re seeking an experienced Enterprise Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and strategically aligned enterprise solutions for the AA.

What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga

This role is central to shaping the architectural direction of the organization. It involves hands-on guidance of solution delivery, the development of strategic roadmaps, reference architectures, and high-level end-to-end solution designs that align with business strategy and technology capability needs.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to define and understand the problem space, ensuring architectural responses are grounded in strategic context and business requirements. It also includes designing scalable and secure enterprise solutions, assessing and recommending architectural options, and ensuring consistency with enterprise standards and long-term strategy.

You’ll collaborate with delivery teams, contribute to the evolution of the enterprise architecture through enduring artefacts, and promote architectural thinking across business and technology communities. Additionally, the role involves facilitating workshops, advising stakeholders, and managing relationships with external vendors to ensure alignment and value delivery.

About You | Mōu

Your proven track record in enterprise solution architecture within corporate or consulting environments is key to your success. You bring strong analytical, design, and documentation skills, along with the ability to quickly understand business strategies, plans, and requirements. A solid grasp of Enterprise and Solution Architecture approaches is essential, as is the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.

You confidently build strong relationships, challenge the status quo constructively, and engage in robust discussions while maintaining alignment and engagement. Preferably you’ll have a working knowledge in Agile delivery and across multiple IT domains such as Cloud and Infrastructure, Data and Analytics, Cyber Security, and Project or Programme Management, with experience in business and technology areas like Sales, Service, Product Management, and Digital Platforms.
