Job Description

The Business Development Associate role is an instrumental component to FloatIQ's Enterprise Sales efforts to expand our current customer base. The primary objective of this role is to identify prospective clients while also partnering with our Managing Directors in driving the initial stages of our sales cycle within assigned industry verticals. The Business Development Associate will be responsible for prospecting new clients, assisting in the creation and execution of account and territory plans and supporting Enterprise Marketing campaigns and lead qualification activities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams (Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing and other organizations) is critical.


Job Duties:

  1. Conduct call campaigns and set meetings with key stakeholders in Finance, Treasury, Procurement, Accounting, Shared Services and IT organizations of our target customers.
  2. Assist the Sales Managing Directors in the creation and execution of their account and territory plans.
  3. Support our strategic and ongoing marketing awareness campaigns and drive prospect participation to internal and external events & webinars.
  4. Qualify inbound marketing leads.
  5. Aid the assigned Sales Managing Directors to accelerate the initial stages of our sales cycle.
  6. Assist with other sales support functions such as account and industry research, sales presentations, analysis and more.

Qualifications


  1. 2 to 3+ years of inside sales or business development experience in a finance, technology or relevant industry with strong selling and communication skills (written and verbal).
  2. Individuals need to be confident, self-starter, competitive and enthusiastic with a strong sense of self-discipline, drive and urgency.
  3. Ability to quickly learn, adapt and become a go-to resource on a dynamic team.
  4. Must be very strong in managing multiple priorities.
  5.  Experience in utilizing sales methodologies, metrics, processes and tools. Experience with Zoho Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft suite (especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint).
  7. Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology-related field or commensurate experience.

Skills Required

  • 2 to 3+ years of inside sales or business development experience in finance, technology or a relevant industry with strong written and verbal communication skills.
