Your role

We're seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager for our Risk team. As Enterprise Risk Manager, you will be crucial in the company wide enterprise risk and business continuity efforts in accordance with established regulatory standards and frameworks. 

Drawing on your proficiency in training, communication, and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans are complete and documented in accordance with established standards and requirements, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing standard risk assessments, business impact analysis, and other ERM and business continuity capabilities to create unique experiences only Tamara can provide. 

With a proven track record of building and leading Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives across a complex organization, comprehensive understanding of key ERM frameworks, methodologies, and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Your responsibilities

  • Enhances risk management awareness and capabilities across the company.
  • Drives development and maturation of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. 
  • Collaborates with senior management to continue to mature the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
  • Manage Key Risk Indicators to monitor risks to strategic objectives.
  • Supports Second Line activities across the enterprise.
  • Drives implementation and management of ERM programs.
  • Ensures risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Coordinates responses to regulatory inquiries during onsite examinations.
  • Work constructively and collaboratively with others to accomplish timely resolution of requirements, findings, and leadership objectives.
  • Collaborate, lead, and/or execute on multiple projects simultaneously involving many internal and external stakeholders at all levels; builds bridges of trust and mutual support.
  • Monitors and evaluates effectiveness of ERM implementation by business units.
  • Increase knowledge of ERM and industry best practices that can be practically applied.
  • Builds and executes activities within the ERM function – to include risk identification and assessment, and mitigation plan development and reporting.
  • Collaborates with executive management to perform an enterprise level risk assessment.
  • Partners with department heads to perform individual risk assessments at the business unit level
  • Conducts risk assessment workshops with business units.
  • Facilitates departmental workshops on risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting
  • Develop mitigation plans with the departments to better manage risk.
  • Develops and implements solutions and procedures to ensure that the company is prepared to deal with risks.
  • Drives and delivers Business Continuity commitments, support, ownership, accountability, and results.
  • Leads enterprise-wide business continuity planning and efforts; oversees BCP test and exercise execution.
  • Provides subject matter expertise and support to senior leaders and managers.
  • Provides ERM advisory services, education and training to leaders and company business.
  • Develops ERM metrics and reporting on emerging and onset risks, and the effectiveness of mitigation plans, for Risk Owners, Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Monitors, analyzes and prepares reporting of risks within the company's business units; prepares regular reports for use by management and the Board of Directors.

Your expertise

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management or related.
  • CRISC, CISSP, or other similar certifications preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in Enterprise Risk Management or related/similar functions, in positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Risk Management programs in a complex organization, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management theory, frameworks, and application.
  • Demonstrated capability to apply risk management concepts, analysis, and support to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and ERM framework.
  • Strong analytical skills and desire to seek out information.
  • Excellent/effective verbal and written communication skills with all types and levels of audiences.
  • Execution-oriented self-starter able to work with multiple levels of management and multitask.
  • Proven track record of collaboration and coordination across an entire enterprise or large division.
