The Role

We are an innovative startup in the clinical development space, leveraging AI to design smarter and more efficient clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies. We're on a mission to revolutionize the way clinical trials are conducted, making them faster, cheaper, and more effective. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a visionary and hands-on Enterprise Cloud Architect & DevOps Lead to join our team and lead our platform to new heights.

The Enterprise Architect & DevOps Lead will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. This role is responsible for guiding our transition to a full single-tenant architecture, ensuring our platform meets enterprise-grade standards, integrating with AWS Marketplace, and eventually making our solution cloud-agnostic. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in cloud architectures and DevOps, and has a proven track record of implementing large-scale, robust cloud solutions.

  • Lead the design and implementation of a single-tenant cloud architecture ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Elevate our platform to enterprise-grade standards, including compliance with industry regulations and robust monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Spearhead the integration of our platform with AWS Marketplace, ensuring seamless deployment and operation for our clients.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to make our platform cloud-agnostic, allowing for flexibility across multiple cloud providers.
  • Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, and optimize system performance.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, clinical data science, and product management to define and execute technical strategies.
  • Ensure all cloud infrastructure and services comply with security standards and regulations relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams on best practices for cloud architecture, DevOps, and deployment.
  • Continuously research and adopt new cloud technologies, DevOps methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency, performance, and cost management.
  • Create thorough, high-quality technical documentation for cloud architectures, deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and integration guidelines.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with significant DevOps responsibilities, focusing on enterprise-level cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep expertise in AWS, including experience in integrating with AWS Marketplace.
  • Experience with other cloud providers such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform, with a strong understanding of cloud-agnostic architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of single-tenant architectures and best practices for SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative mindset.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and other container orchestration platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning platforms and their integration within cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Competitive salary and equity options.
  • A collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic work environment.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • The chance to work on cutting-edge AI technology that is transforming clinical trials.

  • We understand that no candidate may fulfill 100% of the qualifications. Trust your experience and apply! We value individuals who are passionate about learning and are eager to bridge any knowledge gaps through their work.
  • At QuantHealth, we believe in creating an inclusive and diverse work environment where everyone can thrive and contribute to our shared goals. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences.
  • For Israel-based applicants, our office is in Tel Aviv and we mix remote and in-office work. Most of the team is there twice a week and works from home the remaining days.
  • For US-based applicants, you would be fully remote. Note that we already have multiple remote team members and our processes are adapted to remote work.

What We Do

QuantHealth is an AI company conducting patient-centric drug simulations to accelerate and de-risk drug development. Over 90% of drugs in clinical development stage fail to reach the market, which accumulates to a $45B/year direct lost to the pharma and biotech industry. Our platform allows our pharma and biotech partners to rapidly run thousands of variations of their clinical trials to optimize the trial design and significantly increase the probability of trial success, all while enabling discovery of new clinical opportunities and optimization strategies. QuantHealth has one the largest integrated datasets that spans the clinical, pharmacological and biological domains together with a proprietary AI platform that can predict patient-response to both approved and novel therapies.
