Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with a strong development background and extensive experience in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in IT, with expertise in systems integration, cloud technologies, and a deep understanding of various banking functions including Cards, Payments, Digital Channels, Financial Crime, Regulatory Compliance, and Core Banking.
The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning technology strategies with business goals, while collaborating with senior executives to deliver high-quality solutions under pressure. Excellent communication skills and the flexibility to manage complex, dynamic environments are essential for this role.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, with a strong development background.
- Proven experience in the banking domain, including Cards, Payments, Digital Channels, FinCrime, Regulatory Compliance, and Core Banking.
- Strong integration experience across various platforms and deep knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Ability to work effectively with senior executives and influence decision-making at the highest levels.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure with a flexible and adaptable attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Architecture Design:
- Design and maintain enterprise-wide IT architecture, ensuring alignment with the organization’s business goals.
- Lead the architecture of banking-specific systems such as Cards, Payments, Digital Channels, FinCrime, and Core Banking.
- Ensure architecture frameworks are robust, scalable, and secure to meet both current and future business needs.
- Integration & Cloud Expertise:
- Lead the integration of systems across multiple platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance optimization.
- Develop and implement cloud strategies to support the bank's digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on scalability and cost-efficiency.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with senior bank executives, offering technical insight to support decision-making and strategy development.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of IT projects under tight deadlines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration across IT and business units to ensure alignment on project objectives and outcomes.
- Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure that all architectural frameworks comply with regulatory standards and financial industry best practices.
- Provide oversight and governance for architecture-related decisions, ensuring consistency and risk mitigation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with banking-specific regulatory compliance and risk management solutions.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and agile methodologies.
