The Role

Location Details: 

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote designation. 

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

As an Enterprise Account Manager, we’re looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager with extensive experience cultivating and growing enterprise partnerships in the banking and reseller space. You’ll need to be able to quickly create meaningful relationships by fostering a deep understanding of partner goals and objectives by working with partners to understand their market and needs. 

Commerce is a top priority for GoDaddy and growing this through our strategic banking and reseller partnerships is a critical initiative to help us scale. You will help GoDaddy and our large strategic partners achieve mutual targets in selling in-store, online, and omni-commerce solutions to millions of merchants. We are seeking an experienced enterprise relationship manager who can lead and grow these strategic bank partnerships. Beyond managing these relationships, this person will be critical in helping to expand these relationships and the value they drive for GoDaddy and our partners.

What you'll get to do...

  • Provide day-to-day management of your accounts including managing issues, ongoing operational review (external Quarterly Business Reviews, internal monthly business reviews), purchase orders, statements of work, and reporting.
  • Manage executive relationships with each partner and their counterparts within GoDaddy.
  • Upsell, cross-sell and drive the adoption of new products, solutions, and capabilities.
  • Be an internal advocate for your partners within GoDaddy as well as an evangelist for GoDaddy within the partner organization.

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of strategic account management or leading enterprise partnerships in the banking, fintech, or payments industry. Global experience is a plus.
  • Excellent commercial negotiation, project management, and forecasting ability.
  • Exceptional communicator and presenter to executive audiences and experience leading commercially sensitive negotiations and initiatives.
  • Foundational understanding of payments, eCommerce technologies, and point-of-sale hardware solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing deadlines with finite resources.
  • Experience collaborating and working alongside product, legal, finance, support, and engineering to accelerate partnership objectives and timelines.
  • Have extensive experience partnering with internal executive stakeholders as well as external stakeholders across marketing, product, engineering, and strategy.
