About the role
We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive - Wealth Management to win new business with the largest institutions in wealth management: wirehouses, private banks, mega RIAs, and wealth platforms. Reporting to april's VP of Sales, you'll own complex enterprise deals from the first executive conversation through signed contract and onboarding.
This is a hunter role focused on net new logos. Marketing and Sales Development will support you, but you own the full cycle, bring the network, and help shape how april goes to market with enterprise financial institutions. Team members residing within the New York City metropolitan area must maintain a minimum on-site presence of three days per week.
Key responsibilities
Hunt and win new enterprise logos. Own and exceed a large new business quota, opening doors through targeted, account based outreach and your existing network
Engage at the executive level. Build trusted relationships with C suite leaders and heads of wealth, product, technology, and operations, and partner with april's leadership on strategic opportunities
Lead consultative sales cycles. Run deals from discovery through technical evaluation, security and compliance review, procurement, legal, close, and onboarding, navigating buying committees across business lines and regions
Sell on business outcomes. Understand each institution's clients, competitors, and priorities, and build value propositions grounded in measurable ROI
Set account strategy. Build multiyear account plans aligned to each institution's priorities and april's broader GTM strategy
Lead cross functionally. Partner with Solutions Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Client Success to tailor the pitch to each firm's tech stack and deliver a one team experience
Keep a disciplined pipeline. Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, and forecasts, and represent april at key industry events
Experience
A proven enterprise track record. 8+ years of full cycle B2B SaaS sales, carrying and exceeding a $4M+ quota and closing large, multiyear contracts
Wealth management expertise. Direct experience selling into wirehouses, private banks, RIAs, or IBDs, and deep familiarity with how they buy and evaluate technology
Exceptional executive presence. You're comfortable in the room with C suite audiences and can make complex ideas resonate
An active network. Current relationships across the wealth management ecosystem that you can activate from day one. You're bringing the network, not building it from scratch
Strong business acumen. You uncover a client's pain points and build tailored, ROI driven cases for change
Mastery of long, complex cycles. Comfort with many stakeholders and extended legal, security, compliance, and vendor risk review
Self direction and drive. You own a large territory with significant autonomy and no senior teammate to lean on for warm intros, and you bring creativity to how you open new doors
Nice to have
Prior experience as one of the first or only AEs covering a vertical or region
Experience working as a financial advisor or CFP
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
