Engraving Production Assistant

Summary: Support manufacturing tasks associated with flexographic sleeve and plate production. This person assists laser engraving operators with loading and unloading materials onto production equipment, cleaning and preparing for final shipment. Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required. A person in this role will learn our production process and later would have the opportunity to advance to laser engraving operator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)      Work safely and adhere to all safety guidelines.

2)      Read/process sleeve and plate orders as scheduled.

3)      Operate/maintain equipment utilized in the engraving process.

4)      Clean, inspect, label, and pack materials for shipment.

5)      Record data as required.

6)      Drives company vehicle to pick up and deliver goods to customers, vendors and freight carriers.

7)      Keep work area clean and orderly.

8)      Responsible for ongoing personal development as required.

9)      Perform other duties as instructed.

• Ability to lift 50#
• Competent operating a computer.
• Ability to work independently.

• Must be a team player and maintain a positive attitude.

Education and Experience:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role is helpful
• Excellent driving record
• Flexible with work schedule during the week
