The Engineering Tools & Systems Analyst owns and maintains processes to manage tools and systems requirements and solutions delivery for the Electronics Capital Engineering, Manufacturing Technology and R&D Leveraged Engineering & Automation groups. This role connects with Capital Execution and Manufacturing Technology application users to determine software needs and requirements, and coordinates with other Electronics resources (Procurement, Information Technology, etc.) and external vendors to deliver functionality that satisfies those needs.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Partners with Information Technology resources, Procurement, software and service vendors, etc. to implement required tools and systems solutions, including infrastructure stand-up, licensing, and vendor agreement management activities.
- Manages licenses and installation support for tools and systems in areas such as 2D & 3D CAD, collaboration, process modeling, estimating, scheduling, and capital process related back-office administration (ex. authorization, forecasting, project portfolio management, and capitalization, ECOSYS ), and SAP.
- Collaborates with other Integrated Operations & Business Services Group (IO&BSG) groups to identify and implement tools with broader use beyond Capital Engineering and Manufacturing (ex. enterprise document management)
- Partners with Engineering leaders to balance tool demand, licensing costs, and affordability within their groups
- Champions data security and business Information Protection / Trade Secrets protection needs and solutions within the Capital Execution tools and systems designs and configuration
- Develops and maintains end-user and systems support strategies and networks for tools and systems used by Capital Execution and Manufacturing Technology.

Qualifications
- BS or AS in engineering sciences, computer sciences, or similar degree preferred
- 3 to 5 yrs. experience working around capital project teams and engineering disciplines preferred.
- Familiarity with a broad scope of engineering tools and systems (2D/3D CAD, Process Modeling, Collaboration tools, etc.)
- Associate level qualification in Project Management a plus.
- Experience leading large system implementations a plus.
