About the role
We're scaling up and looking for a Frontend Engineering Team Lead to join our high-performing Engineering team at Displayr. In this role, you’ll be directly managing a team of six full-stack engineers—responsible for their growth, performance, and day-to-day execution—as well as shaping the frontend technical direction.
This is a leadership position with a strong hands-on component—while your primary focus will be enabling your team and driving strategy, you’ll also contribute directly to the codebase (around 10–20% of your time), especially in areas involving complex frontend work.
About You
- 8+ years of software development experience, with deep frontend expertise
- 3+ years of experience directly managing an engineering team
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern frameworks like React
- Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to lead through influence and trust
- Experience scaling frontend systems, driving architecture, and managing complexity
- A thoughtful and strategic leader who enjoys developing people as much as writing code
- Familiarity with backend technologies like .NET/C# is a bonus, but not required
