Boeing Ukraine is looking for Engineering Team Lead to join our team in Kyiv.
Position Responsibilities: • Leads development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.• Apply extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts• Discovers new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking.• Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions.• Provide products and services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies and processes and embrace first-time quality as a way of life - not accepting, creating or passing any defects and speaking up.• Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.• Leads development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.• Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort. Works under minimal direction.• Provides technical solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and creativity.
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, chemistry, physics, mathematics.• 5+ e years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.• Leadership experience. 3+ years.• Experience problem solving and supporting corrective action plans.• Experience in fast paced environment with a multi-faceted team.• Expert knowledge of aircraft structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria, loading conditions, and processes (e.g. nondestructive testing, corrosion prevention).• Expert in reading, understanding, and can interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design).• Expert knowledge of structural repair principles (e.g., fatigue and corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques). Knowledge of structural repair, overhaul, nondestructive inspection, corrosion control, and composites.
Preferred Qualifications:• Experience in applying extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts• Has full knowledge of other related disciplines• Highly effective communication skills with senior leadership.• Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment.• 3+ years of experience in guiding the successful completion of aspects of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.• Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.• Has a knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
