Engineering Software Intern

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work closely with Design Engineering to support the design and functionality of new processing equipment.
• Provide functional, easy to use applications using IDT’s internal design standards
• Perform and maintain support and maintenance of existing applications, refactoring as needed to match current requirements in the simplest way possible

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Must be able to work over a minimum of 20 hours per week, as required
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in science or IT concentration
• Knowledge or experience with a .Net windows-based programming language required

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

• 10% travel between IDT building locations in Coralville
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Base knowledge of current relational database products. Experience with MS-SQL server is preferred.

The hourly range for this role is $25.00. This is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
