The Project Coordinator will report to the Cernavoda Unit 1 Life Extension Retube Project Director, and will be responsible for supporting the C1 Life Extension project planning and execution team. This role will require continuous communication with members of the Retube team as well as the client, and will be responsible for identifying, planning, leading, and implementing various scopes of work.

This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.

Your role within the team:

• Responsible for assigned scope of the project and accountable for performing duties that facilitate work progressing with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinates with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Refurbishment teams to ensure all activities are progressing as per project schedule.
• Coordinates progress meetings, status updates and other planning and execution workshops as needed.
• Working closely with project controls team to provide project cost forecasting, progress tracking, and performance metrics.
• Working closely on behalf of the project organization with the procurement team to support month-end reporting and progress update tracking and monitoring.
• Coordinating closely with quality assurance to ensure all quality requirements of the project are met.
• Liaise with key stakeholders as required generally including engineering, quality, procurement and tooling vendors.
• Maintain a positive relationship with client project counterparts.
• Provides status and progress reports in support of the Project Manager.
• Ensure a strong nuclear safety culture is reinforced continuously.

Work Locations:

• The project team are located at Candu’s head office in Mississauga or one of Candu’s remote offices.
