In our team we are approx. 80 skilled colleagues in Engineering Europe, working in an inspiring and positive atmosphere. We strive for executing Capex projects within agreed time, budget and quality and ensure that the deliverables are understood by our internal costumers.

50% Project Manager

• Strong focus on Project management for investment projects at the Arpajon production plant in all project phases.
• Responsible for planning and forecasting of Capex projects
• Responsible for frequent project status reporting to the project owner/StC, budget, risk, new decisions etc.
• Responsible for the technical design/function and thereby ensure that success criteria for the project can be met.

50% Team-lead

• Leading the project execution team Central Europe Microbes in Arpajon FRA (2 direct reports), Pohlheim GER (1 direct report) and Starovice (1 direct report) with a strong focus on efficient CAPEX project execution
• Supporting employees in achieving their goals through coaching, sparring and continuous follow-up
• Ensuring governance, structure and quality across all project deliverables in CEU-Micr.
• Developing the team and individual employees in alignment with the company’s overall strategic direction
• Contributing to the further development and optimization of tools, standards and processes across the project organization.

Your main tasks:

• Drive project through project lifetime, from concept phase to hand-over, compliant with Novonesis policies, local law and project framework.

• Leading a group of 4 Project manager and external project manager.

• Engineering management representative in three production plants (small-medium size).

• Lead project teams (including internal/external resources and suppliers/contractors) that is responsible for achieving project objectives.

• Manage stakeholders towards meeting project requirements and deliverables

• Create and finalize project documents according to Novonesis deliverables

 
To succeed you must hold:

• BSc. or MSc. in engineering (mechanical, chemical, process, electrical), or similar background, with at least 10 years’ experience with project execution as project engineer or project manager.

• Project management experience within process installations and equipment

• Experience with contract management of supply and/or consultancy contracts

• Preferably a minimum of 2–3 years of experience leading project managers within CAPEX project execution in a comparable industry (biotech, pharma, industrial or energy)

• Proactive, structured and strong in prioritization

• Excellent communicator, capable of working effectively across the organization and stakeholders (French and English)

• Development-oriented mindset with a natural drive for improvement

• Hands-on mentality

Competences within one or more of the following areas:

• Production processing

• Process/Industrial design

• Qualification in Food or Pharma facilities

• Hygienic and aseptic design (CIP/SIP)
