  • Lead one of the most important evolutionary initiatives in the flight status value stream over the last couple of years.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Solid hands-on software engineering experience from design to production delivery and maintenance – Plan, Build & Run.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C# or Python preferred) and principles.
  • Experience working with at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS or GCP).
  • Good software architecture skills, ability to design complex systems from the ground up with functional and non-functional requirements in mind.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performance engineering teams with a focus on inclusivity, team cohesion, trust, and accountability.
  • Customer-centric mindset and strong ownership for results, impact, and continuous improvement. Data-informed approach to decision making.
  • Exposure to operational excellence practices (incident management, postmortems, and continuous improvement loops).

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience working in a data-intensive, platform, or SaaS environment. Familiarity with engineering practices for reliability and maintainability at scale.
  • Familiarity with common technologies in our ecosystem (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, etc.).

WE WILL OFFER YOU:

  • Opportunity to work with passionate individuals at the intersection of technology and the global travel industry.
  • Company-provided free lunch every day.
  • A modern office in a convenient location, with flexible working arrangements that allow remote work or office attendance.
  • An attractive compensation and benefits package, including private health insurance and company bonus scheme.
  • Voluntary participation in a company-supported retirement scheme
  • A generous annual leave policy that grows with each year of service, plus a day off during your birthday month.
  • Work remotely from anywhere in the world for 1 month each year.

We will ensure that the exact salary offered to you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience, and requirements for the corresponding job function (starting from 5000 EUR gross per month).
