Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow high-performing engineering teams building scalable, cloud-native platforms. This role blends strong people leadership with deep technical expertise, requiring a hands-on leader who can coach engineers, drive execution, and partner closely with Product and cross-functional stakeholders. You will be responsible for fostering a healthy, inclusive team culture while ensuring delivery of reliable, high-performance systems, including the adoption of modern AI-enabled engineering practices. The ideal candidate brings a builder’s mindset, strategic thinking, and a passion for customer-centric engineering excellence in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

- Bangalore, India (Hybrid; 3 days onsite/2 days remote)
What You’ll Do:
People Leadership & Development
- Coach and mentor engineers in their career growth and skill development
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and feedback sessions
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and psychological safety
- Team Health & Productivity
- Monitor team morale, engagement, and workload balance
- Identify and address team-level challenges or interpersonal issues
- Support team autonomy while ensuring accountability for outcomes
Strategic Alignment & Execution
- Collaborate with Product and other stakeholders to align team goals with business priorities
- Ensure engineering teams have the resources and support needed to deliver effectively
- Track progress against goals and help teams stay focused on delivering value
Organizational Enablement
- Advocate for the engineering team’s needs within the broader organization
- Drive initiatives that improve cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of proven experience in using C# and .NET Core & ASP.NET Core. Must have hands-on experience building applications in the cloud that handle very high RPS by exploiting parallelism and asynchronous nature of tasks
- 3+ years of previous experience in a leadership or management role, guiding and motivating a team of developers
- Must have experience in integrating AI tools into Engineering practices
- Analytical thinking and problem solving, strong understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices, software architecture and design, DDD, OOAD, API development in restful web applications, Development of libraries and frameworks. Must possess practical understanding of Use cases, TDD
- Experience with performance optimization, code review processes, and automated testing. Software engineering and experience of maintaining the software deployed in the field
- Modern dev ops tools & practices, monitoring, and alerting tools usage to monitor solutions deployed in a containerized cluster
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and driving continuous improvement in developer experience, processes, tools and technologies
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and handle multiple priorities effectively
