We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead multiple cross-functional product engineering teams. You’ll play a key role in Knak’s triad leadership model—partnering with product managers and designers to guide strategy, execution, and delivery across our product lines.
This role is all about enabling high-performing teams: fostering growth, elevating engineering standards, and ensuring that what we build maps directly to customer and business impact.
What You’ll Be DoingLead and coach teams: Mentor engineering leads, provide feedback, and support growth through career development and team rituals.
Drive delivery: Collaborate with PMs and designers to scope, prioritize, and deliver high-quality software aligned with product goals.
Elevate engineering practices: Promote code quality, architecture reviews, test automation, and CI/CD improvements.
Align engineering with strategy: Participate in quarterly planning, OKR alignment, and roadmap reviews.
Build stakeholder confidence: Serve as a trusted communication bridge between engineering, leadership, product, and support.
5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years in engineering leadership
Proven track record leading high-performing product teams in SaaS or technology-driven environments
Experience with agile delivery frameworks and modern engineering toolchains
Strong mentorship and communication skills, with the ability to build cross-functional alignment
Familiarity with CI/CD, testing strategies, and scalable architecture patterns
An empathetic leadership style that emphasizes coaching, feedback, and collaboration
