Who you’ll be working with
We build the solutions dreamed up by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across three global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and lead a team of software engineers in developing high-quality software products.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams & Partners to ensure timely and successful delivery of software projects.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand and prioritize software development initiatives.
- Design, develop, and deploy software applications utilizing NodeJS, ReactJS, Angular, python
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability of software products through pull requests, code reviews, unit testing, and development best practices.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Planning, estimation, requirement analysis, layout design of assigned project and other ongoing projects in team with Project Manager / Developers / Designers.
- Maintaining and auditing code / design quality as per set guideline and standards in assigned projects.
- Maintaining the skill set matrix of the team.
What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)
- 7+ years of experience leading teams of engineers
- 7+ years of hands-on development experience with one or more of the following:
- Frontend: React or Angular
- Backend: Node or python
- Cloud: AWS or Azure using serverless functions and microservices
- Relevant hands-on experience building unit tests on common unit test frameworks
- Relevant hands-on experience with RESTful & GraphQL APIs
- Familiarity with dev tools such as Github and Jira
- Minimum of 5+ years DB experience with relational DBs or noSQL such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redshift, MongoDB, Redis
