We’re hiring an Engineering Manager to join an innovative product company from Slovakia building UAV solutions for commercial and scientific use. The team develops drone technologies used for real-world applications such as aerial imaging, monitoring, and other advanced operational scenarios.

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Work format: Office-based
Relocation support: full relocation package within the EU, including 100% coverage of relocation costs and legal support with residence permit / temporary refuge (TMS) paperwork.
Lead and grow a cross-functional engineering team across Software, IT, and QA
Own delivery of engineering initiatives, ensuring strong execution, quality, and alignment with business goals
Support hiring and team scaling, including interviewing and onboarding new engineers
Drive engineering excellence across architecture, development practices, and team processes
Conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and support team development
Experience leading or managing software engineering teams
Strong software engineering background, ideally with exposure to embedded systems (C/C++) and/or Linux
Ability to balance people management with delivery and technical discussions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience working in agile environments
Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Ukrainian level - native
Experience with UAV / drone-related products or adjacent hardware-software systems
Work on a real product in an innovative UAV domain
